Learn With Nurses Clinical Director

After many roles within the NHS, specialising in cardiovascular disease, I set up my own business in 2010 offering clinical education, training and consultancy to the NHS, commercial organisations and the third sector. My overall aim is to improve patient care by supporting clinicians and healthcare teams to give the highest quality, efficient, evidence based care through education, training and systems redesign and improvement.

I am the Clinical Director for Learn With Nurses, a Community Interest Company offering free clinical educational webinars to healthcare professionals around the world. Mid 2021 I joined the team at 33n as a Clinical Supervisor on the HEE-commissioned CLEAR Programme, supporting front line clinicians to make evidence-based sustainable improvements in healthcare organisations. Also in 2021 I was elected to the Board of the National Association of Primary Care as a Non-Executive Director. I am a Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission and sit on a number of national and international clinical working groups and committees within the cardiology field.
